Emergency Management Overview
The Office of Emergency Management (OEM) coordinates Response and Recovery efforts for events, incidents, and disasters. Coordination of efforts includes resources from the Tribal Administration, Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, Public Works, Water & Waste Water, Accounting and Procurement, Acoma-Canoncito-Laguna Hospital, Environmental Protection, Forestry, Senior Citizens Services, Public Schools, and various others as the situation unfolds.
The OEM works to provide Public Awareness and Education, Planning and Preparation, and Prevention Best Practices to the Pueblo of Acoma and the surrounding communities.
