Mission Statement

“The Acoma Senior Center and Elderly Assistance Program is an organization of the Tribal Government whose intent is to provide services to the Senior Center of the Acoma Pueblo and services area.

The Acoma Senior Center will serve those with the greatest economic and social needs.  These needs include low-income, frail and impaired elderly, the geographically and social isolated, and the non-English speaking elderly. It is our intent to improve the quality of life for our elders through fostering environment of quality, dignity and pride.”

  • Senior Companion Services
  • Equipment Rental Services (Wheelchairs, Canes, and Walkers)
  • Senior Olympics, Local Games, State Games
  • Support Groups
-Transportation is provided to the seniors on the Acoma Pueblo reservation (McCarty’s, Acomita, Skyline Area and Old Acoma) to the congregate meal site or for daily activities as per request of elderly.  Homebound delivered meals are served Monday through Friday on the Acoma Reservation

The Pueblo of Acoma Senior Center and Elderly Assistance Program address the needs of the Acoma Pueblo Seniors by providing meals through a culturally sensitive program.  The program provides a culturally sensitive approach to the seniors on the Acoma Pueblo reservation.

ALL SENIORS ARE WELCOME TO COME IN FOR ALL CONGREGATE MEALS THAT ARE SERVED MONDAY THRU FRIDAY AT THE SENIOR CENTER DINING AREA. (SENIORS THAT ARE 55 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE MEALS.)

ALL SENIORS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THE ACTIVITIES OR SUPPORTIVE SERVICES THAT ARE PROVIDED BY THE PROGRAM.
