Community Center

A Grand Opening Celebration is to be scheduled for the early part of August 2010.

What is the Community Center going to consist of?

The 51,000 sq ft. building includes a new 600 seat gymnasium. Weight room, aerobic/mat area, natatorium which includes a 100,000 gallon swimming pool and two Jacuzzi’s. The Building will also include a new Tribal Council chambers, Tribal Administrative offices and general office space for tribal programs. Tribal Programs will have a beautiful view of the sacred Mt. Taylor and surrounding sites. The facility construction is projected to be complete in August 2010.

WHPacific, Inc. is the contractor for the Design work has been completed as well as the Architecture work which is ongoing.

The Construction contractor for the ACC project is Flintco Constructive Solutions.

Advanced System Designs is the project inspector representing the Pueblo of Acoma.

Arvind N. Patel, Tribal Engineer/W&WW Administrator is the project oversight as well as Tribal Administration and Council.
